Tiny Tale: The Armrest Accord of Four
After the Second Supper, when the bowls were licked clean and the air still smelled faintly of gravy, the Clowder gathered for the ancient rite known only to the chosen few: The Armrest Accord.
First came the Calico Sentinel, claiming the arm with the authority of one who has never asked permission.
Then one Tuxedo Guardian arrived, then the other, each settling with the solemn dignity of knights taking their posts.
Last of all, Dan the Shadow‑Walker slipped into place, quiet as dusk, completing the sacred line.
Four cats. One impossibly narrow armrest. A formation so improbable it defied physics, reason, and upholstery.
And so they slept, stacked in perfect harmony, dreaming the dreams of the well‑fed and deeply loved.
Thus was recorded the Post‑Feast Slumber Rite: Quad Formation, a moment of unity, warmth, and questionable spatial judgment.
Four cats—calico, tuxedo, tuxedo, and black—stacked in a perfect line along a narrow couch arm, united in the sacred post‑feast slumber.
